About Me, Myself & I

ME

This Website is dedicated Acura Legend Enthusiasts. There may not be many, but 13,000 and growing. If you aren't a car person and in many cases an import enthusiast, back out of this site now.  I can imagine how many of people browsing here ask themselves why does he do this, to this car no less? All I answer is; "This is what makes me happy."

My name is Christian Pascale and I was raised and born in Napa, CA. Growing up in a very Catholic family I was taught to treat other as i would like to be treated. I'd like to think that those values, is what brought me all that I have and where I am today.

Growing up I always had an intense interest in sports, mechanics and anything related to A/V,  as most boys do. Out of competition I always created elaborate toys out of the ones I already had, same goes for what I do now with my car. When it came to anything A/V related, I was always watching TV, playing video games or experimenting with my first 286 PC at age 12. My fascination of computer games, lead me to understanding the internal workings of a computer. I started building computers for businesses in the Napa Valley at age15. I couldn't pass up on $15/hr at age 15. From there my own computer consulting business took off as well as my salary. I finished off High School and attended the local Junior College to finish my transfer units and pursue a degree in the computer field, all the while maintaining my business. I concentrated on hardware and networking since those were my two best trades. I transferred to Sonoma state for computer science since it was nearby. Soon i realized the concentration in programming was not my thing and  transferred again to Devry University for my concentration in networking & routing. To make a long story short, I was lucky enough to land a job as an  I .T . Manager for a real estate investment syndication, never  complaining of not having enough to fund my second hobby and passion. I have since purchased  a home in the Napa Valley, and have a great relationship with my girlfriend.

I found my Legend in the summer of 99', completely stock from a private owner in Redwood City, CA. She had 114,000 freeway miles and drove like a dream. I just turned 19 and really wasn't into the import car scene, I just choose this car because I thought it looked great and after all it was a nice luxury car. I started to manipulate ideas from www.Legend.org and the Temple forums out of boredom and applied it to my Legend. My friends and I quickly started to quarrel about who's car was faster,  and the price of competition started to show up on my credit cards, I knew I'd never look back, until I had to pay them.... There was no aftermarket for the Acura Legend, surprise surprise, however I found ways to make them. Starting with aesthetic modifications like clear corners, clear turn-signals to window tinting. Soon there after I started to get into intakes and exhausts etc. One year later, before anyone at the time I transplanted my old TYPE I engine for a TYPE II, and that's where I began to get into the mechanics of engine building ETC, using the same R&D skills I learned being in I.T.

I  finished up my latest and greatest feats, a 3.5 liter RL block swap mated to a Legend 6spd manual transmission. Dare I say the only one in the world.  Look in the projects section for more info on those two never seen before modifications.

UPDATE(12/1/05):

I have done my last upgrades which include; custom headers, a ported (VIS removed) I. manifold, 5spd flywheel swap(22LBS off rotating mass) and a few other things. One thing is certain now, there is nothing or nowhere that was left untouched on this car.

Update(7/12/06):

More is always the key word here. Nothing ever stays the same, there's always something new with the legend. Check out the September issue of Honda Tuning to get the real deal.
